Chinatown Scavenger Hunt
May is Asian Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month, a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. In honor of that, Got a Clue? is proud to bring you a NYC Chinatown Scavenger Hunt. Participants will learn history and experience culture of the Chinese people through a fun-filled scavenger hunt in the largest Chinatown in the Northeast. Teams of 2-6 people will decipher clues, solve puzzles and complete activity challenges to go from one location to the next. The hunt should take about three hours to complete. No objects will be collected on this hunt. The objective of this hunt is to earn as many points as possible.Commuter's Challenge
Every day millions of New Yorkers commute to and from work or school using the New York City mass transit system. People are often rushing to their destination without spending the time to notice and appreciate the many beauties that lie within our transit system. Got a Clue? presents a Commuter's Challenge Scavenger Hunt, where teams of 2-6 people will take different modes of transportation to go from location to location within the five boroughs' transit system. This Scavenger Hunt will expose participants to some modes of transportation that they have not used as frequently (or at all). Participants will also visit and learn about some locations' artwork and history. The challenge of this Commuter Scavenger Hunt is to navigate through the city's transit system in the most efficient manner as this hunt will be timed. This scavenger hunt will last approximately four to five hours. Teams will accrue points based on the order that they finish this hunt. Teams will also accrue points by taking team photos with items/locations contained in a list.Murder Mystery in Union Square
Teams of 2-6 people will decipher clues, solve riddles, and complete activity challenges to go from one location to the next. No objects will be collected on this hunt. Who would want to murder a promising young college student who was in the prime of her life? Was it the suspicious boyfriend? Jealous classmate? Vengeful sister? Jilted admirer? Depressed roommate? Rumored ex-lover/professor? Solving the clues will reveal all the answers.Pop Culture
Do you think you know a lot of trivia from television, movies, celebrity gossip, current events or just random odds and ends? If you said yes, then this scavenger hunt will be perfect for you. Our Pop Culture Scavenger Hunt will put you and your team to the test. Teams of 2-6 people will solve clues based on pop culture trivia. The better you know your trivia, the quicker you can solve the puzzles and be the first team to finish the hunt to win. This scavenger hunt is a fast-paced race so be sure to wear something comfortable!Halloween Scavenger Hunt
From HEADLESS ACTORS to famous BURIAL GROUNDS to FLOATING WOMEN in their evening gowns - this three-hour Halloween Scavenger Hunt involves teams of 2-6 people competing against each other to solve clues to go from haunted location to haunted location within Manhattan. Teams will learn about some of the most spine-tingling details of our city including murders, deception and passion. Teams will also complete team photo challenges along the way to accrue as many points as possible. The objective of this scavenger hunt is to accrue the most points to WIN. All participating teams must bring one digital camera to this scavenger hunt. In addition to the hunt, we have a BEST COSTUME CONTEST. Individual participants who come dressed in a costume will be automatically entered. Everyone who participates in the scavenger hunt including the event organizers will have an opportunity to vote for the best costume. CREATIVITY counts! The costume with the most votes will win a prize whether or not his or her team wins this scavenger hunt.
