Got a Clue? is a NYC scavenger hunt company that organizes fun and challenging scavenger hunts for the general public and private parties. The inspiration for our company began many years ago when we were three friends looking for a fun way to pass time on a rural college campus. Creating our own scavenger hunts for our friends helped us through many boring weekends. Several years later the idea resurfaced again and expanded from hunts in a small town to challenging scavenger hunt events with all of New York City as our playground.
Our scavenger hunts are organized with themes which we incorporate into challenging and entertaining puzzles. While our events are only as competitive as our participants allow, we try to keep the mood light with little-known facts and humor sprinkled throughout our hunts. Our participants form teams to compete with the objective of accruing the most points to win. Teams solve puzzles that take them from location to location. At some of these locations, teams will complete an activity challenge that encourages communication. Additionally, we often include team photo challenges that force teams to heighten their observational skills and their creativity. Points are accrued by successfully completing the puzzles, activities or photo challenges. No objects are collected on our scavenger hunts. The team that accrues the most points wins the event and each participant on the winning team receives a prize.
By participating as a team, participants learn more about their own strengths and weaknesses as well as learn more about their teammates. Naturally, a sense of camaraderie is formed.
